- Several weeks before Dana Reeves
lost her courageous fight with lung
 cancer, she filmed a documentary
on PBS titled "The New Medicine" She stated
that one of the things that got Chris through his illness and her with
hers was the use of The Guided Imagery C.D. by Diane Tusek.
Dana was a strong believer in a person utilizing all
possible avenues towards full body health. There is no
right or wrong way.
She also believed that children/teens should also
incorporate guided imagery into their coping with the many
uncertainties that they are facing:

He said to me and the nurses, that this was a "no brainier". He said
that all the patients need this. The less anxious a patient is,
the less anesthesia they need and the quicker they will heal.

I believed in Dr. Lytle. It
is 3 years later and I am still listening! And so are all my
employees in my company. I use it for my wellness program at my
Fortune 500 corporation, as
well as for family and friends.

I remember watching Dr. Joseph Hahn, now the
Chairman of the Cleveland Clinic, on CNN several years back.
He was quoted as saying "any hospital that wants to remain competitive
will have to offer guided imagery to their patients. They are
asking for it. And we are here to offer it to them." Thank you Dr. Hahn for being a pro active physician, and going out on a limb in
the 80's! And thank you Diane, for being
the type of person that thinks "out of the box and into the hearts and
souls of your patients!".

operated on my father for neurosurgery....

Dr. Agusto (Gus) Pichard of The Washington Hospital Center encouraged me to listen to Diane Tusek's guided imagery c.d. prior to and during my cardiac catheterization procedure. He said it would help me relax and cut down on the anxiety I was
feeling. He then gave me the c.d. to take home and to keep
listening. It was part of my cardiac rehab program.

“ As Chief Clinical Officer at Sioux
Valley Hospital in SD, I have had the opportunity to learn about guided imagery first hand
